$250,000 Cliffhanger Shootout - Sept 6th

Greywolf hosted the 8th annual $250,000 Cliffhanger Shootout on Sunday September 6th, 2009. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Cops for Kids charity which supports local families in need of financial assistance when dealing with health crises that burden them with costs not covered by our health care system. The constables are participating in a 10 day, 1000km+ bike ride around Southeastern BC to raise awareness and funding.  For more information about Cops for Kids visit their website at http://www.copsforkids.org/


    
  

The Event:

The event is pretty simple. Here's how it works:

  • An individual golfers entry costs $100. There are a maximum of 48 entrants
  • Your entry gives you three shots at a hole-in-one on Greywolf's famous 'Cliffhanger' (hole#6)
  • If you get a hole-in-one on your 1st shot you'll win $250,000!
  • If you miss on your 1st shot but get a hole-in-one on your 2nd shot you'll win a new Volvo
  • If you miss on your 2nd shot but get a hole-in-one on your 3rd shot you’ll win a trip for 4 to Prince Edward Island. Includes: Airfare, rental vehicle,  4 nights at the 5 Star Rodd Crowbush Resort, 4 rounds of golf.
  • Any participant to hit the green will win a free sleeve of balls
  • Other 'secret' prizes will be awarded to participants throughout the event
  • The top 3 closest to the pin will win a special prize.
  • Only one entry is permitted per person

Putting Contest:

There will also be a putting contest throughout the day and the winner will win a free round of golf at Greywolf.  There will be a special kids putting contest and the top 3 kids will get a chance to shoot one ball in the Shootout - the winner will receive a special prize.

Sponsor A Cop:

If you can’t participate but would still like to contribute to Cops for Kids you can sponsor an officer to participate in the Shootout.  Local officers will be collecting donations or you can call Greywolf and donate whatever amount you can spare.  Each local officer is trying to raise $250 towards the cause.

Spectators:

Friends and family of participants are welcome to attend.  We will be selling 50/50 tickets during the event and participants in the 50/50 draw will also get a chance to win draw prizes during the reception.
